Charge the video games, iPad and if needed have extra battery (fully charged) and hand over it to kids at the airport itself. They will be busy with the devices and exited to try out a new game (just indulge them with a new game) rather than be cranky. You can easily guide them through out without yelling at them.

Or you can gift them a child-friendly camera and encourage them to capture the journey.

Pack Essential Snacks and Treats

If your airline operates on crazy time then it disrupts the normal routine of your kids. They will be hungry and you cannot run to shops every time they want something to eat. Just pack their favourite snacks and treats and have it with you all the time.

Before grabbing the discounts and offers check whether the airline can provide below:

• Does the airline allow you to take the folding baby pram till you board to the flight and keep it with them till you fly?
• Can you pre-order your kids favourite meal or food suitable for your kids?
• Can you book seats closer to a toilets so every time they want to pay a visit, you do not have to go along with them as you can see and guide them from while seated?

Kids are very energetic and letting them expose to new environments can only make them hyper and curious to try out the new things they see. Keep tabs on them at airports, train stations and crowded attractions with a child locator.
